Power
Supply to Hi-Fi Systems
All
great Hi-fi systems need a quality power supply.
Below are some suggestions to greatly improve and upgrade your power
supply.
Prices exclude the distribution board and any power cables between the
components except where pictured with the conditioner or block. Any
of the suggested components can be replaced by other models and makes,
but the brands suggested below offer excellent results as tested by
Dave.

First consideration
should be, if at all possible, a dedicated supply from your Distribution
board. Furutech have the excellent FP-3TS762 power cable for this purpose.
Sometimes though you just have to accept the standard house installation.
However the ideas below can still be incorporated by you to achieve a
very rewarding long term improvement on your enjoyment of music. Good
earthing is essential but do not go driving in an earth rod in without
checking with an electrician first. This is to avoid making too many "potentials"
in the system and I am told it is not good. All electrical work should
be carried out by a competent electrician.
