The Nordost Sort Kones is a sohisticated, directly coupled and mechanically tuned resonance control devise,
using a new approach to the problem of supporting sensitive electronices.

Whereas most equipment support devices are referred to as isolation devices this actually completely misunderstands the nature of the problem.


The most harmful mechanical energy does not enter the equipment from the outside, it is generated internally by the audio circuits and their power supplies.


Transformers, power supply caps, even the active devises themselves, all vibrate as they operate and those vibrations occur where the the fragile signal is.
