The connector is made from hard gold plated brass for exceptional corrosion resistance and utilizes FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) for its internal insulation.This plug uses a spring loaded collar which makes the ground connection before the signal, thus preventing damage to your loudspeakers should the amplifier be left on. Blue Heaven interconnects are also available as a balanced cable with gold plated XLR connectors or with locking 5 Pin Din plugs. SPECIFICATIONS.
