Firelight digital is a pure silver design with an air-spaced Teflon dielectric, triple-balanced configuration, and helical array/inner core geometry. RF/EMI noise is effectively dealt with through the use of a non-metallic floating braided shield (more effective than a metal shield and without the need to be electrically connected, i.e. ‘floating’), and two resonance filters. Terminations are WBT’s Nextgen 0152 Cu RCA connectors, low-mass, wide-bandwidth pure copper designs with effective shielding; ideal for digital audio.
